Home of the Alpaca addicts, since our start in 1998, Alpacas have become our life, and we wouldn't change this for anything!!

We are two alpaca farms that have joined together creating Two Farms with One Vision for the Future.

Sunnyhill Alpacas is a partnership consisting of Kevin & Leanne Sept, Jim & Sharon Adams and Ann Adams. Our alpacas are cared for by Kevin & Leanne, Kevin works full time on the farm, when he's not playing mid wife or feeding hay, he can be found working in the Twisted Sisters & Company Fibre Mill. Leanne still works full time, but hopes to join Kevin full time on the farm within a couple of years. Ann Adams is a retired upholsterer who has become the official Alpacasitter when Kevin & Leanne need a get away. Ann also works in the Fibre Mill as often as she can and when she is not working in the mill she is busy sewing duvets or knitting for the store. Jim & Sharon, former hog farmers from Mayerthorpe now own Phoenix Industrial Maintenance out of Whitecourt, AB.

Poplar Grove Alpacas is owned by Don & Sheila Adams, although Don & Sheila live on an acreage outside of Nisku, their alpacas are agisted at the Sept's. Don owns and works at Ja-Co Welding, in the summers him & Sheila are kept busy with their other animal passion, they sponsor and follows the WPCA Chuckwagons.

We started with a herd of 11, after several births, some purchases, some trades, the combined herd now consists of about 60 alpacas. We also provide breeding and boarding services, our total on the farm is around 75.

Our farm is located just east of Leduc on 160 acres, all of our winters pens have four sided shelters and heated waterers. In the winter we provide a good hay as well as alpaca crumbles, we also provide free choice mineral. In the summer they enjoy green grass in several different pastures.

Sunnyhill Alpacas focus is on Huacayas, where as Poplar Grove Alpacas is focused on Suris, but our goal is the same…to produce top quality alpacas while leaning towards color.

We are members of both Canadian and US Alpaca Associations. We go to as many seminars that are available to us to learn as much as we can about Alpaca fiber, conformation, health and husbandry. We also own Twisted Sisters & Company Fibre Mill, which has taught us more about fibre than most seminars ever could.

We have a good range of both Suri and Huacaya alpacas for sale at reasonable prices. With every purchase we offer after care support, written health/fertility guarantees. All of our Suri alpacas are registered with both CLRC and ARI, as are most of Huacayas.

We are down to earth country people, who love to talk about alpacas. So if you are new to the business or a seasoned breeder, company is always welcome at our farm. Come & enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, breath the good air, watch the alpacas and play with all The Sept's 4 legged kids!!
